Penshaw Wildlife Group was established in 2022, after the local village of Penshaw lost a huge area of greenbelt to housing development. We are an active community group for people who love nature and wildlife. Our collective aim is to protect and support our local surrounding wildlife, to take some responsibility for it and encourage others to do the same, through a regular variety of education and awareness activities.  Founder and Chair, Claire Foster
